It is with pleasure that we announce the date and venue for the 18th Open Repositories Conference (OR 2023). The conference will be held from 12-15 June 2023 at the Lord Charles Hotel, Somerset West, which is close to Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch University Library and Information Service will be the host. We are looking forward to welcoming delegates to the first Open Repositories Conference on the African continent!
Nominations are open for new Steering Committee Members
The Open Repositories Steering Committee (ORSC) is pleased to announce that we are opening nominations for standing members to join the OR Steering Committee.
ORSC manages the annual Open Repositories conference and consists of 12 standing members (who serve three-year terms) as well as the chairs of the host and program committees for the annual conferences.
We are inviting nominations, including self-nominations. The nomination deadline is July 30th 2022.

We have a week to go until Open Repositories 2022! All registrants look out for an email that will be coming your way shortly with more information. We have also updated the attendee guide. Please be aware that the program is subject to updates, we will provide you with a printed copy at registration. We can’t wait to see you in Denver.

- John Chodacki, Director of the University of California Curation Center (UC3) at California Digital Library (CDL)
- Torsten Reimer, University Librarian and Dean of the University Library at the University of Chicago
Moderated by Sarah Shreeves, Vice Dean of the University of Arizona Libraries.

Registration for the OR2022 conference to be held in Denver is now open. Early bird registration is $300 ($360 with conference dinner) through May 8th and will be $50 more thereafter. This registration form may be used by regular conference participants as well as conference sponsors. The early bird registration has been extended from it’s original date of May 1st.
