May 15th was the last date for cancellations and refunds.
The early bird registration fee of $300 is available through May 8th. The early bird registration has been extended from the original date but beginning May 9th the registration fee will go to $350. Participants will need to make their own flight and hotel reservations. No hotel room blocks are being reserved but there are in excess of 30 hotels in the downtown area that are within walking distance or a short rideshare.
The conference will be held in downtown Denver, Colorado on the Auraria Campus. The campus is adjacent to the downtown area including hotels, restaurants, entertainment, and retail shopping. The meeting itself will be held in the beautiful new CU Denver Student Commons Building. It may be found on the upper right side of the campus map.
Auraria Campus is a dynamic academic environment shared by three separate and distinct institutions of higher learning that are all designated Hispanic Serving Institutions:
- Community College of Denver
- Metropolitan State University of Denver
- University of Colorado Denver
The Auraria Higher Education Center is a separate state entity whose role is to provide and manage shared services, facilities, and property to support these prominent institutions in achieving their goals.
The collective student population is nearly 38,000, with approximately 5,000 faculty and staff.

No hotel room blocks have been reserved for the conference due to the uncertainties of the number of people attending, but the many choices will provide options for everyone.
